More than a Man by Smith & Dragoman
This is the story of the martyrdom of the Báb - martyred July 9th, 1850 in Tabriz in front of a crowd of 10,000 witnesses. He was killed for His teachings which went against the dominant religious voice of the time.
Riddled with bullets from 700 rifles while suspended by ropes on a wall, his mangled body was soon after secretly removed and hidden for years before being delivered to its final resting place in a beautiful golden domed shrine on Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel.
The Báb was the founder of the Babi Faith and was also the herald of Baha'u'llah, the prophet founder of the Baha'i Faith.
