BIC statement at Human Rights Council special session on Iran

The 35th special session of the Human Rights Council addressed the deteriorating situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially with respect to women and children. The BIC delivered a statement on the state-sponsored persecution of the Baha’i religious minority and all ethnic and religious minorities – and acknowledged the tragic loss of life and calls for social justice and equality.
