Bahá’í World Publication: New essays honoring life of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá focus on higher education
BAHÁ’Í WORLD CENTRE — The online publication The Bahá’í World has released two new articles.
“‘Abdu’l-Bahá: Champion of Universal Peace,” explores how ‘Abdu’l-Bahá advanced the cause of peace not only through His engagement with leading thinkers of His time but also through a plan for the spiritualization of the planet.
Another new article, titled “‘Abdu’l-Bahá and the Bahá’í Students,” looks at ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s contributions to the discourse on education in the Middle East and His guidance of Bahá’í students at the American University of Beirut.
These new articles are part of a series honoring the centenary of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s passing, which will be commemorated by Bahá’í communities worldwide next month.
The Bahá’í World website presents a collection of essays and articles that explore themes of relevance to the progress and well-being of humanity, highlight advancements in the worldwide Bahá’í community at the levels of thought and action, and reflect on the dynamic history of the Bahá’í Faith.
